Brazilian Programs

On the following pages, you will find an overview of Brazilian production of short films in 2022/2023. This edition of the Brazilian Programs includes 14 programs at Brazilian Showcase, three Student's Showcase programs, with works from schools and audiovisual courses, and one Audiovisual Workshops program, with productions originating in training processes. Recent Brazilian films are also featured in the sections

Kids and Teens Showcase, Unlimited Showcase, Horizons and in the special program Nocturnu.
In total, the Brazilian Programs bring productions from 20 states and the Federal District, thus becoming one of the most comprehensive panoramas of current Brazilian production in the format.

It is worth highlighting the presence of titles directed by indigenous filmmakers and/or that bring the topic of environmental destruction and the attempt to erase native peoples.

In the set of films presented, there are spaces for fruitions, political discussions, memories, digressions, affections and humor. Experimentations and aesthetic seams that inform us of today's Brazil.
